Temmam has over 24 years of professional experience in project management, particularly in the fields of environment, climate change, and sustainable development. He currently serves as an Expert Consultant for funders in Morocco, Africa, and the MENA region, working with public sector clients and private enterprises within the ECI firm, of which he is the Director-Founder. His experience in Morocco has allowed him to work closely with institutional decision-makers on cooperation programs and projects addressing various themes of environmental and climate policy. This experience has equipped him with a strong understanding of Morocco's environmental and climate issues, its governance framework, public and private actors, as well as the best working approaches suited to the Moroccan context. Additionally, Temmam has worked in Canada as a consulting expert with various internationally renowned engineering or environmental service firms, such as Dessau, HDS Environnement, Trow Consulting Engineers, and Véolia Environnement. This experience has distinguished him through rigorous and effective management as well as his ability to work in teams. He has thus gained significant experience in executing large-scale environmental projects, in addition to providing training in environmental matters. His experiences have enabled him to work with a diverse clientele and effectively meet their requirements. He has notably worked for private sector clients, particularly in the industrial sector (oil, petrochemical, mining companies, etc.) and the financial sector (banks, insurance companies), institutional clients (municipalities, ministries, government agencies, etc.), as well as law firms. Holding a Ph.D. in environmental geochemistry from the prestigious Canadian university McGill, he has also undergone project management training at the same university. This training, essential for PMP (Project Management Professional) accreditation, has provided him with a solid understanding of the fundamental principles, tools, and techniques of project management from the international Project Management Institute (PMI). His involvement in various multidisciplinary environmental projects has allowed him to refine his project management skills, particularly in resource control, budget management, and work planning. He also holds other certifications, including one issued by the Federal Ministry of the Environment of Canada related to the validation and verification of GHG projects, and a trainer certificate on environmental and social safeguard policies of the Green Climate Fund issued by GIZ & WRI, etc.

M.Sc : Experte nationale en capital-investissement, financement des entreprises et financement du climat

"Ms. Amal is an Expert Consultant in Finance and Investment with over fifteen years of professional experience in structuring and managing investment funds and in financial direction. She has multi-sectoral experience (industries, energy, infrastructure, services, etc.). She primarily worked in Private Equity as Head of Investments at a major Moroccan banking group, where she developed expertise in designing and managing investment funds, particularly in renewable energy, infrastructure, and real estate, raised from national and international funders in partnership with the public sector. She later held the position of CFO within an industrial group, where she led a financial restructuring of the group and implemented a new investment policy. Currently, Amal is an Expert Consultant in finance and investment, advising and supporting private companies and public organizations in establishing their investment programs and conducting financial and economic studies to facilitate fundraising. She also participates in sustainable investment programs, assessing their financial feasibility, and developing innovative and relevant business models and financial mechanisms. Amal holds a degree in Finance from ENCG-Settat, a Master’s in Business Law from ISCAE, and a Master's in Organizational Management from the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Finance, focusing on 'SME Financing through Private Equity,' at Hassan II University in Casablanca."

ASMAA ZAIMI

M.Sc : Chargée de projets

Asmaa ZAIMI serves as a Project Manager in Energy and Climate at ECI, overseeing various projects led by senior experts while ensuring quality, timing, and cost parameters are met. She works on energy and climate change projects, including studies on GHG emissions accounting using tools such as IPCC guidelines, Bilan Carbone®, and the GHG Protocol, as well as projects focused on climate change mitigation. She holds a Master’s degree in Water, Energy, and Environmental Sciences from the École Normale Supérieure of Technical Education in Rabat (ENSET). Throughout her career, she has strengthened her skills in renewable energy and energy efficiency across all sectors. She has also contributed to key projects, such as GHG assessments and mitigation planning for Morocco's Oriental and Casablanca-Settat regions, developing Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for agricultural and marine equipment for the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency (e.g., tractors, pumps, cooling units, etc.), and assessing mitigation potential across various economic sectors. Asmaa Zaimi has also supported accreditation processes with the Green Climate Fund (GCF), working with organizations in Morocco, Togo, Rwanda, and Burkina Faso. She has participated in studies and projects advancing the objectives of Morocco’s national energy strategy, such as the GEF-Solar Pumping project, the 'Green Mosques' energy upgrade program, and developing a technical guide on solar water heaters, among others.

ISSA KONE

Eng. : Ingénieur conseil

An engineer specializing in Water and Environmental Engineering, M. Issa KONE recently joined the ECI team as a Consulting Engineer in Energy and Climate. He develops his expertise in the environmental sector to support businesses and local authorities in their low-carbon transition efforts. His main areas of focus include carbon accounting, environmental assessments, and the development of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction strategies across various sectors. Recently, Issa has been involved in several national and international projects, including the GEFF Morocco II program by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which is dedicated to investing in the transition to a green economy. In this program, he was responsible for evaluating the eligibility of projects submitted for funding. In his previous experience, Issa participated in technical assistance missions for various national and international organizations, including the World Bank, the IFC, FINEA, and the Tensift River Basin Agency (ABH Tensift). Issa holds a State Engineer degree from the National School of Applied Sciences of Al Hoceima. He is fluent in French and English and has a basic understanding of Arabic.

Mohammed MOUSSALLIK

Ingénieur d’études

Mohammed Moussallik, an engineer in Renewable Energy and Smart Grids, joined the ECI team as a Consulting Engineer in Energy and Climate. During his studies, Mohammed had the opportunity to participate in various projects that enriched his professional experience. He contributed to projects such as developing a data visualization solution for Africa Solar Decathlon homes and creating an IoT system for monitoring temperature in cold storage rooms. After earning his master’s degree, Mohammed began his career as an Industrial Consultant in Energy-Climate at Atos/EcoAct, where he assists companies in implementing climate strategies, including carbon footprint measurement and action plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Passionate about exploring the field of renewable energy, Mohammed also worked as a Junior Consultant for INGINE in South Korea, where he studied the African market for marine energy. He completed an internship at the Green Energy Park, researching the potential of wave energy along the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts of Morocco. With his commitment to renewable energy, technical skills, and practical experience, Mohammed Moussallik continues to contribute to sustainable development and innovation in electrical engineering and renewable energy.

Mrs. Bouthayna BEITAR is an environmental consulting engineer on the ECI team. She holds a State Engineering degree in Rural Engineering from the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute (IAV) and a Master's degree in Hydro-resources and Environmental Sciences from the Grenoble Alpes Institute of Technology (INP-UGA). She specializes in water management and environmental issues. Thanks to the nature of her dual training and experience, she has developed both technical and managerial expertise in environmental procedures and standards, hydrology and water footprint, natural resource management (water, soil, wildlife, flora), waste management, agriculture, pollution, and impact studies. She has actively shaped her career by engaging in various phases of project development, from design to implementation. Mrs. Beitar has held key roles in environmental management for infrastructure projects in France, particularly in the road and rail sectors. She has participated in major projects as an Assistant to the Project Owner (AMO), working on environmental impact management, regulation compliance, and the environmental strategy of several large-scale worksites. She also contributed to innovative studies on construction material reuse and soil management optimization. In Morocco, she conducted analyses to characterize wetlands and develop ecological solutions in partnership with local and international stakeholders. Passionate about sustainability and climate change issues, she is an active member of professional associations, aiming to promote sustainable development principles across various sectors.

Responsable Administrative et Communication

Ms. Fatima Zahra RSOUNE holds a Bachelor's degree in Economic Sciences, specializing in Small and Medium Enterprise Management, from Mohammed V University, Faculty of Economic, Legal, and Social Sciences in Agdal, Rabat. She serves as the Administrative and Communications Manager at ECI. With twelve years of professional experience in a multinational consulting firm in the fields of environmental impact studies, sanitation, and sustainable development, she has built a solid background in administrative support. Her expertise includes managing public contracts, administrative and financial management, logistics for exhibitions, and organizing study trips.
